• Workstation & Power Upgrades Installed 22 Dell docking stations and under-desk PDUs with surge protection to declutter desks and ensure safe, structured power access.​

• Cable Relocation Power and data points were repositioned beneath desks to eliminate trip hazards and match the office layout.

• Network Documentation Delivered updated port mapping and full server room documentation to prevent rogue access and improve manageability.​

• Access Control Installation Supplied and configured a BPT Impro 2 access control system across 8 doors with HID readers and fire alarm integration for compliance and safety.​

• Video Conferencing Solutions Installed Yealink A10 in a smaller meeting room for quick, high-quality calls, and Yealink A30 in the boardroom for flexible wire free conferencing.

American School In London - Education

Overview

Streamline Technology Consulting, in partnership with our long-standing collaborator Compubits, was commissioned to design and deliver a high-quality audio and video system for a multi-use space at the American School in London (ASL). The goal was to create a reliable, easy-to-use solution to support meetings, presentations, and community events with seamless audio-visual integration.

Project Requirements

ASL required a modern system that would:

​

● Provide crystal-clear audio for both in-room speech and wireless playback.

● Deliver high-resolution video for presentations and community events.

● Be simple to operate with intuitive controls.

● Integrate existing Sennheiser microphones already owned by ASL.

Working closely with Compubits, Streamline designed a tailored solution that balanced functionality, user-friendliness, and long-term reliability.

Solution Design

Video System

The central display was a large 98” flat-panel TV, supplied and installed by Compubits. With full HD/4K resolution capability and HDMI connectivity, the TV provides sharp visuals for presentations and video conferencing to give users greater flexibility when connecting devices, a Lightware 4x1 HDMI matrix switch was included. This device allows multiple HDMI sources—such as laptops, media players, or other presentation devices—to be connected and easily switched to the main display. Importantly, the matrix also extracts embedded audio from HDMI sources and routes it directly into the Yamaha DM3 mixer, ensuring smooth integration between video and audio systems.

Audio System

To achieve even sound distribution across the space, six Yamaha VSX8W wall-mounted speakers were installed. These were powered by a Yamaha XMV8140 amplifier, delivering consistent, high-quality output. At the heart of the audio setup is the Yamaha DM3 digital mixer, chosen for its powerful processing features such as EQ, compression, and dynamics control—essential for ensuring clear, professional sound.

A Denon DN-200BR Bluetooth audio receiver was also integrated, giving users the flexibility to stream audio wirelessly from laptops or mobile devices. The existing Sennheiser microphones were connected directly to the mixer, ensuring optimal audio capture during meetings and events.

Control System

Ease of use was a key requirement for the American School of London. An Extron 5” touch panel was installed as the main control interface. This intuitive system allows users to manage volume, switch sources, control Bluetooth playback, and operate the display—all from a single, easy-to-navigate screen.

Cabling & Infrastructure

Behind the scenes, Streamline supplied and installed the necessary HDMI, XLR, and speaker cabling to connect the entire system. Care was taken to ensure neat installation, reliable performance, and proper power management with surge protection where required.

Implementation

Streamline Technology Consulting handled the complete installation and configuration of the system. This included mounting speakers, setting up the amplifier, configuring the mixer, integrating the control panel, and ensuring the seamless connection between all components.

Once installation was complete, our team provided training to ensure school staff were fully confident in using the new system. The training focused on the touch panel interface, audio adjustments, and video source management, ensuring day-to-day use would be straightforward and stress-free.

The new audio-visual system has transformed this multi-use space into a versatile and reliable environment for meetings, presentations, and community events.

Victory Services Club - Military Members Club

Client Overview

The Victory Services Club (VSC) is a prestigious private members’ club in London, offering accommodation, dining, and function spaces to serving and retired members of the Armed Forces. Renowned for its history, heritage, and beautifully maintained event spaces, the Club requires modern technology solutions that seamlessly integrate with its traditional, ornate interiors.

Project Scope

Streamline Technology Consulting was engaged by the VSC to design and implement audio-visual infrastructure improvements and provide ongoing technical support across the Club’s facilities.

Recent Project: Carisbrooke Hall AV Upgrade

Carisbrooke Hall, one of the Club’s flagship function spaces, required an upgrade to its audio system to support a wide range of events including conferences, gala dinners, and live performances. Streamline carried out the installation of new AV infrastructure cabling to prepare the space for its enhanced audio system.

Key considerations included:

• Sympathetic Installation: Great care was taken to preserve the ornately decorated interiors of the Hall. All cabling was discreetly routed to ensure that the aesthetics of the space remained untouched.

• Future-Proof Design: The infrastructure was designed to support the latest audio technology while providing flexibility for future system expansions.

• Reliability: High-quality cabling and terminations were used to ensure the upgraded system delivers clear and consistent sound throughout the venue.
